Ryan Swarthout
Executive Chef & Kitchen Manager, Paso Robles Inn Steakhouse
Ryan Swarthout has been a fixture in Paso Robles cuisine for more than a decade. He began his culinary career in San Francisco after graduating from the California Culinary Academy in 1997. He worked for some of San Francisco's top chefs before coming to the Central Coast. Ryan worked as sous chef at both Cafe Roma and The Gardens of Avila in San Luis Obispo. He spent a year living and working in the Bavaria region of Germany where he also completed intensive cooking courses in Italy. In Paso Robles he took the helm of Deborah's Room at Justin Winery, where he worked as Executive Chef for 6 years. He followed up his stint at Justin Winery by becoming the opening chef of both Robert's and Estrella restaurants. He then opened Second Press restaurant before bringing his talents to The Paso Robles Inn Steakhouse.
