From early childhood, the delicious diversity of hot steaming bowls of Miso Ramen to good ole' American Meatloaf; these were the roots from which Trish Jacobs was inspired and how Paso Catering Co. was born. Trish has been cooking professionally since 1985.

She started out in Sonoma County working as the Catering Manager at a successful Italian Deli in Sebastopol.

Soon after, to expand her culinary experience and became Sous Chef at a top restaurant in Santa Rosa where she cooked on the line and catered their events.

During that same time she started her first catering business, Gourmet Express Catering, in Santa Rosa. In 1989 Trish, her Winemaker husband Jac, daughter Jennifer and newborn son Mathew moved to Lake County where Trish started her second catering business, Lake Vintage Catering. While in Lake County she had the pleasure of being the Sous Chef for the filming of TV Food Network at Fetzer Valley Oaks and Executive Chef for Park Place Restaurant in Lakeport.

By 1999 Jac’s winemaking brought them back to Sonoma Co. Where she worked under several great chef mentors and continued catering, but also furthered her food knowledge by studying nutrition at Bauman College and advanced to the position of Culinary Director. wide variety of eating styles from Paleo to Vegan and mastered her skills as she prepared delicious , beautiful, nutrient dense foods.

In 2003 Trish & Family followed Jac’s winemaking career to Paso Robles on the Central Coast of California where she calls home and took a short break from the food world. While getting the lay of the land she worked at The Culinary Academy in Paso Robles, worked with numerous caterers, and is currently Chef at Belvino Viaggio Bed and Breakfast in Paso Robles.

Last summer she began “PASO CATERING” and it has taken off like wildfire!

Her catering clients include Non-Profits such as Family Care Network in San Luis Obispo, the Rotary Club & Boys and Girls Club in Paso Robles, Weddings, Rehearsal Dinners, Birthday Dinners, Baby Brunch’s and the Chamber of Commerce in both Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo. She was also the main force in helping Kelsey See Canyon Vineyards take home the Judge’s Award for First Place at The 2014 Winemaker’s Cook off in Paso. She’s recently started her “Provision’s Snack Box’s”. These delicious treats are available both wholesale and retail. Wineries such as “Tooth & Nail” and Breweries such as “Barrelhouse brewing Co.” carry these in their cold case. There are Cheese & Charcuterie snack boxes for adults. They contain a few choices of gourmet Cheese’s like St. Andre and Honey Log, cured meats like Salami, Coppa and Quince Membrello, Crostini’s and Roasted Almonds. They are deliciously perfect for lunch or a snack to share while you enjoy your wine or beer.

In addition to Provision Box’s she is also providing Box Lunches for Wine and Bicycle Tour Companies. She will be providing the Box Lunches for the hundreds of participants that come to Paso Robles for the Great Western Bicycle Rally this Memorial Day weekend. Riders will call/text /email their order in the night before their ride and Trish will deliver them to their desired winery and desired time the next day. Fresh made nutritious wraps at their lunch break at a beautiful location. What could be better than that? Wine Tour Companies Like “101 Wine Tours” are using her because Trish can rendezvous with them at their desired winery or meet them early at their guest pick up point.

With Trish’s husband a Winemaker for 33 years and her son, Mathew, the Lead Brewer at Paso Rpbles’ Barrel House Brewing Co. she has the inside taste track to all of the best culinary delights on the Central Coast.
